BackSpiceMaster Extras -- Basic Steps -- SpiceMaster Glass Specific Controls

Placing a bevel along a glass edge is a further way (besides Shadow/Glow) to add depth to SpiceMaster Glass effects.

Example images

Bevel

Light Increase or decrease the bevel highlights and shadows.
Angle Change the light angle.
Softness Increase or decrease the bevel softness.

To simulate glass refraction, zoom the image behind the glass and (optionally) add an offset.
Example images

Refraction

Zoom To simulate glass refraction, zoom the image behind the glass.
Convexity Adjust glass convexity.
Offset To further adjust the refraction, (optionally) add an offset. The offset only has an effect if you have zoom over 100%.

Adjust the glass color, opacity and other properties.

Glass Properties

Blur Add blur to simulate frosted glass.
Saturation Although this is not a property of real glasses, saturation changes can make interesting effects.
Red, Green, Blue Adjust the glass color.
Edge Softness Limit the effect at the glass edges for a smoother effect and softer edges.

Set the number, width and convexity of the slices.

Glass Geometry

Width The total width of the slices area. Slices may not fill the entire area if the first or last slice have zero width.
Slice1, Slice2, Slice3 Slices width, as a fraction of the whole slices area above. To get more complex glass effect, make the slices overlap.
Slices Over Set which clip the glass slices are above. Important: If the transition is placed at the beginning of a single clip use 'Clip B', if at the end use 'Clip A'."
