6 Easy Steps to Using SpiceMaster PRO

6 Easy Steps to Using SpiceMaster
After you re-start Movie Maker, your custom SpiceMaster PRO transition(s) will appear in Movie Maker’s Transitions list (at the TOP of the list) as "
SpiceMaster 01" "SpiceMaster 02" etc., ready to be dragged between any two overlapping video clips or still-image clips in the Movie Maker timeline like a standard transition. Note you can create a fresh set of custom SpiceMASTER PRO transitions for each new project. Older projects will still retain their earlier set. Cool!

Features Common to All Wizards

Wizards 5.0 is a separate program from Movie Maker. Access it by double-clicking the Wizards icon on your desktop (installed by our demo or purchased version). Or choose it in your Start > Program Files > Pixelan menu. Note you can keep the Wizards open while working in Movie Maker for reference or quick adjustments. Below are additional features in all Wizards.

Features Common to All Wizards

What's New in 5.0

Custom Shapes! Click the triangle in the Shape button to import ANY custom shape for the transition, such as a logo, a holiday/wedding/sports/special event symbol, a text shape/word, or other theme! Then fine-tune it with the powerful softness, texture, border, shadow/glow, and timing controls in SpiceMaster PRO. Several additional Shapes are already available in our Custom FX Club, with more on the way from us and users!
Precision. Right-click the right window to numerically enter the position of the transition. Now it's a snap to match transition positions in different Movie Maker clips.
Longer previewing.
Longer Wizard previewing (up to 30 seconds) is now possible to better simulate your long clips.
Built-in Help panel. Key steps and tips are integrated into the interface for easy reference. Turn on or off the Help window as desired.
Improved saving of Favorites. Save/load just the current SpiceMaster transition, or all in the Wizard -- for convenient future use in a different project.
Improved clearing. Clearing unwanted SpiceMaster transitions when starting a fresh Movie Maker project is now a one-click process. Cool!

SUPERB Creative Control -- Just a Few Easy Clicks!

Below is an overview of SOME of what is creatively possible with the SpiceMaster PRO Wizard for Windows Movie Maker. Keep in mind that all of these options/choices SYNERGIZE to give you virtually an infinite amount of organic transition looks -- all possible with just a few clicks! To see first-hand SpiceMASTER PRO's creative power, download our demo, which is a very easy download and automatically installs into Movie Maker -- no technical know-how required!

Shapes   • Infinite Shapes. 200+ transition geometries are provided, as shown at left. Each one can be positioned ANYWHERE in your clips, as shown below. Larger image

• Import Your Own Shapes -- NEW in version 5.0! Click the triangle in the lower corner of the Shape button to choose any image file in bitmap (.bmp), JPEG (.jpg), TIFF (.tif), PNG (.png), PICT (.pct), or TGA (.tga) format. The grayscale "luminance" gradient values of each pixel in that secondary image file will determine the flow of the transition, starting with the darkest pixels, then all grayscale pixels, and ending at the lightest pixels. Click here for tips on creating smoothly flowing gradient files.

• Positioning. Drag the center cross-hairs 'handle' in the preview to move the transition EXACTLY where desired for your subject or action! A HUGE advantage compared to standard Movie Maker transitions!   Positioning example
Move the soft elliptic transition from center frame to over the water drop action -- much better!

• Cool Extra Looks. 24 ANIMATED edge Texture presets and 16 realistic Shadows/Glow presets are included. Great additions when you need a more dynamic/unique look! Click here for an example movie. (The best way to see ALL of their creative power is to download our DEMO.)   Movie example

• Unlimited Color Choices. Click the small triangle in the Border or Shadow/Glow button's lower corner for a color picker to set the border or shadow/glow color as desired, such as to match or complement colors in your clip.
